  • It is not clear to me whether a card (7 days) is now available for both use on the metro and public transport in Bucharest, or do you have to buy 2 cards?

    • Hi, Paul. One card is enough for both subway and surface transport. You need to mention that you are going to use both when you buy it from a STB center. Pay attention for I did not have time to update the post, but I will asap, now things have changed a little. You can use a trip which is 3 RON for 90 minutes using any of the buses, trams or trolleys you want. After 90 minutes you have to validate again the card. I'll get back with the entire update.

  • what do you do to recover a 70 dollar bus fine in bucharest if you find your bus pass after?

    • Hello, thank you for visiting bucharest-travel.com. First of all you should not sign the fine. If you did, you need to go to a judicial court in the area you got the fine in Bucharest in 15 days. You need a witness. At the court you make a contravention complaint and you need to attach a copy of the fine, two of your id card, two of your bus pass and of the receipt to prove that you actually had bought the pass.
