The Botanical Garden in Bucharest is a peaceful and friendly place for a walk when you have some time while visiting the Romanian capital.

Few people use to come here alone, there are usually groups during organized trips through Bucharest. The Botanical Garden is the perfect place to enjoy nature but also to discover new things about all kind of plants all around our planet.

Of course, while walking around, you can read about all the plants, trees and flowers, you see in front of your eyes. Each one has got a description, like name, age, areas to be found in Romania or world wide.

The Botanical Garden in Bucharest is a green explosion and a fresh air break inside the capital of the country. Some people come here to read a book or take notes, or, simply, enjoy the flowers to be found everywhere.

You can also have a coffee or a beer, or a generous glass of boiled wine in winter at a small and friendly bar near the administrative building and a few steps from the Italian Garden.

In the open space areas you will see decorative plants in the Decorative Area, rare plants, Mediterranean Flora. Also the Italian Garden is an interesting part of the Botanical Garden in Bucharest, just like the Iris Collection.
Don’t miss the conservatory and the smaller greenhouse nearby.
