BUCHAREST BAD WEATHER ALERT

Bad weather has made Bucharest, Romania, an almost impossible city lately. A lot of snow on the streets and boulevards of Bucharest has been the nightmare of all the drivers.

It all began last week with a heavy snowfall and wind. Traffic was paralyzed most of the time. That is why in January and February we have in Bucharest bad weather alert. Yet, in the past five years, things have changed. In January 2025 there is no snow most of the time and we have even 17 degrees C.

BAD WEATHER ALERT IN BUCHAREST IN JANUARY 2017

Heavy snowfalls are expected, low temperatures and, also, heavy wind, from January, 16 to January 19 in Bucharest. The Romanian capital has just faced two hard winter days immediately after the New Year’s Eve. SEE ALSO HOW THE WEATHER IS IN BUCHAREST IN FEBRUARY. If you are going to come to Bucharest in the next three days, this January, take every warm clothes you have.

It is rather cold in the Romanian capital these days. Nothing is expected to change until March, but we’ll see. For transport, see new tickets and access cards for subway, on sale since October, 2017.
