At night, temperature goes below 0 degrees Celsius almost all the time in February in Bucharest. So, if you plan to visit the city after 8 o’clock P.M. you should consider taking warm clothes. There were night when we had to face here in Bucharest 10 degrees Celsius below 0 and, yet, protests against the Romanian Government still took place. Which doesn’t mean it was not cold. Yet, there are days when at 10 A.M. there are 9 degrees Celsius as you can see in this picture taken on February 27, 2017.

WHAT TO WEAR IN BUCHAREST IN FEBRUARY

If you think about coming to Bucharest in February, you need to know it is winter in the Romanian capital, so you need warm clothes. Also take an umbrella with you for there days when the snow turns into rain and it is rather unpleasant to visit Bucharest wet and with the negative temperatures waiting for you at the corner. Our dog knows that! 🙂

February in Bucharest might be a good opportunity to visit museums or to celebrate Valentine’s Day for example in a good restaurant, pub or club. So, shortly, about the weather in Bucharest in February, nights are rather cold, about 0 degrees or even less. During the day the temperature may rise to 13-14 degrees or even 18 as it happened in 2017.
