2017 RECORD SALES FOR ENESCU FESTIVAL

One third of the seats for Enescu Festival in Bucharest 2017 were sold out in 10 minutes. It happened in December, 2016 when all the subscriptions simply vanished. It is, indeed, a record. Subscriptions were for the Great Orchestras of the World. As for the series Recitals and Chamber Music, subscriptions were sold in one minute, according to Enescu Festival organizing team. Another record sales.

INDIVIDUAL TICKETS AND PRICES AT ENESCU FESTIVAL 2017

       Individual tickets are on sale since February, 10 and you can buy them from international EVENTIM networks.

       Here is a list of prices for Great Orchestras to perform at Grand Palace Hall: the 4th category is 80 RON( about 17 Euros), while for the 1st category will you pay 180 RON( about 40 Euros). An individual ticket for Enescu Festival 2017 – Great Orchestras is 140 RON( about 30 Euros), while for the 3rd category is 110 RON( about 23 Euros).

          Here is a list of prices for the series Recitals and Chamber Music to be housed at the ROMANIAN ATHENAEUM:

For the 1st category you will pay 180 RON( about 40 Euros), while an individual ticket for the 2nd category is 140 RON( about 30 Euros). These prices are for the concerts held at the Romanian Athenaeum.

         WHO WILL PERFORM AT ENESCU FESTIVAL 2017

First of all, don’t forget that this year, you will have a great surprise at Enescu Festival in Bucharest! It is about the series 21st Century Music. It will include a Forum of the greatest international composers, with free access to the debates. So, who will perform at Enescu Festival 2017?

Here is a short list of the invited artists all around the world who will come in September for the Festival:

Orchestra Scala di Milano, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam, the Czech Philharmonic, or French National Orchestra will perform in Bucharest joined by artists who will come to the Festival for the first time: Anoushka Shankar, Olga Peretyatko, Thomas Hampson, Jonas Kaufmann or Lang Lang are only a few names. And another concert not to miss: for the first time Orchestra Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia will perform Enescu, Symphony No. 3 in C. Major Op. 21, to be conducted by Antonio Pappano.

           Here is a list of the Romanian artists to perform during Enescu Festival 2017:

In 2017 will perform at Enescu Festival in Bucharest, joining the international famous artists, George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Radio Orchestra but also orchestras from Iasi, Timisoara, Bacau, Cluj or Brasov, conductors like Cristian Mandeal, Horia Andreescu and soloists like Ruxandra Donose, Vlad Budoiu, Roxana Constantinescu and many, many others being also present. There will be more than 3,000 artists for more than 80 events in Bucharest and other cities in Romania for Enescu Festival, like Iasi, Bacau, Timisoara or Sibiu.
