Enescu Festival 2019 in Bucharest and other big cities in Romania will start in 2019 on August 31 and will last until September 22. ENESCU FESTIVAL 2021 DETALIS HERE. The individual tickets will be sold starting with March 6, 12 PM. All these events will take place at the ROMANIAN ATHENAEUM, Palace Hall, Radio Hall in Bucharest, but also in other cities Cluj Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi, Sibiu, Targu Mures, Bacau, Barlad or Targoviste.

MAIN CONCERTS AT GEORGE ENESCU FESTIVAL 2019

The main theme of this year festival will be concert opera, with 14 masterpieces like: Die Frau Ohne Schatten by Strauss performed by Berlin Radio Orchestra, Schoenberg’s Moses and Aaron performed by George Enescu Orchestra and Benjamin Britten’s Peter Grimes performed by Romanian National Radio Orchestra. There will also be a great event this year: two orchestras will perform Symphony No. 3 of George Enescu and we are talking about Maggio Fiorentino Orchestra and Berlin Radio Orchestra. Actually, there will be 32 George Enescu’s works to be performed at the festival. You will also be able to find out more about Mozart, for, this year, there will be an interesting moment called Mozart Week in Residence. And, of course, The 21st Century Music will bring Unsuk Chin, Fedele, Widmann, Penderecki, whose amazing works are performed right now by the greatest orchestras of the world.
