Romanian authorities, finally, decided it was time to make sure foreign visitors and tourists can get from Henry Coanda Airport to the center of the city or Bucharest in a safe and let’s say quick way. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FROM AIRPORT TO BUCHAREST BY TRAIN
According to the minister of Transports in Romania, a trip from Henry Coanda Airport to Bucharest North Railway Station will last from 17 to 25 minutes. It depends on how many stations the train will stop on, since there will be more than one company, which belongs to the state, to operate on this route. As we have already written HERE until now you could come from the Airport to Bucharest only by bus or taxi which means about 45 minutes. By bus, you will get directly to the Unirii Square which is in the center of the city. By train, you will need to use subway or buses for you will arrive in Bucharest North Railway Station.

Since there is still covid 19 pandemics and there are not too many foreign tourists coming to Bucharest, the trains on this new route will leave the Airport every 50 minutes. There are still chances that trains would leave for Bucharest at every 30 minutes, authorities say. Since Bucharest North Railway Station is the last stop, you cannot miss it, yet maybe it helps you to know the stations where the train will probably stop on its way to the city: PO Carpați, Hm Pajura, PO Depoul București Triaj, PO Parc Mogoșoaia și Stația Mogoșoaia. The ticket is about 7 RON.
