People could no longer resist the lack of food, of civil rights, of a good health system, of everything would offer a decent life. In the same time communism fell in Europe in 1989 and the Romanian knew that from different radio channels, despite the state control over media which now can be noticed only in Northern Korea. All the martyrs who found their death while trying to have a better life and change an oppressive regime are commemorated in Bucharest. See first the REVOLUTION SQUARE IN BUCHAREST.
